Biography
Trevor Carey-Smith has been with NIWA since 2007. He is a climate scientist whose areas of expertise range from atmospheric physics to applied statistics. He specialises in the analysis, verification and statistical downscaling of numerical weather prediction and climate model output; dynamic and statistical modelling of climate extremes; and stochastic weather modelling for use in risk analysis.
