Biography
Scott Nodder has over 30 years of experience working on the geology and biogeochemistry of the coastal/shelf seas and oceans around Aotearoa New Zealand, beginning his career at the New Zealand Oceanographic Institute in 1989. He has expertise in sedimentology, carbon cycling, marine ecosystems and bentho-pelagic linkages, with interests in paleoseismology based on active fault-sediment interactions in continental shelf environments. Since 2016 he has been the Group Manager of the Marine Biogeochemistry group at NIWA.
