Dr Michelle Greenwood

Biography

Michelle is a freshwater ecologist with a focus on invertebrates. She works on a wide range of projects including understanding how changing river flows affect freshwater ecosystems, designing new invertebrate-based indicators of river condition and groundwater ecosystems. Michelle has recently completed a 4 year MBIE-funded project investigating the impacts of our streetlights being converted to LEDs on freshwater insects.
