A new resource has been produced to aid regional councils, community groups, and others keen to monitor and evaluate their stream restoration work.
The Restoration Indicator Toolkit is a practical guide which helps those undertaking stream restoration to identify what exactly their restoration goals are, and then monitor progress towards achieving those goals.
The toolkit was part of an Envirolink project, and a number of NIWA's freshwater science team were contributors.
You can download the pdf from the Envirolink website.
A limited number of hard copies are also available from Dr John Quinn, NIWA, Hamilton.
