These submersible pressure sensors, with an accuracy of 0.1% and stability of 0.2% per annum, are suitable for long-term monitoring of bores, rivers and lakes. Both are compatible with analog input data loggers.
The PS1000 and PS7000 are mostly similar, with two main differences.
The PS1000 is suitable for use in 2" (50mm) bores while the PS7000 is suitable for use in 1" (25mm) bores.
The PS1000 has an acetal body whereas the PS7000 has a stainless steel body.
Both sensors have 4-20mA or 0 - 2.5 volt analog outputs, suitable for connecting to a recording device. An optional SDI-12 adapter provides 3-wire serial output to an SDI-compatible data logger.
Both models are available in gauge (vented to atmosphere to ensure the output isn't affected by barometric pressure changes) or absolute (least preferred as you'd need to do a separate barometric compensation).
The gauge sensors have seven ranges available: 0-2.5m, 5m, 10m, 20m, 40m, 75m and 100m.
