An update note from Kareen Schnabel, a scientist onboard, on Day 7:
We have so far succeeded at sticking to the schedule and are collecting what we set out for: the abundant organisms that make up the main food sources of large fish (including commercial species) of the Chatham Rise. We have covered the western part of the Chatham Rise and will spend the rest of the trip over the central area.
